AGRI-INMA Sustainable Agriculture and Environmental Protection journal follows the Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors (COPE).
The management of the Editorial Board (INMA Bucharest) takes care that the evaluating process is correctly performed, without having any tendentious or malicious character.
The Editorial Board will make a pre-evaluation of all articles submitted for publication in the journal.
Those articles failing to reach the scientific standards of the journal may be declined without further review.
AGRI-INMA Sustainable Agriculture and Environmental Protection uses the double-blind peer-review system: the authors and reviewers are anonymous to each other. The names of reviewers will not be made available to authors. Also, the authors’ names and their identification data are not disclosed to the reviewers. The reviewers are requested to ensure the confidentiality of all the information regarding the manuscript and the accompanying documents.
The peer-review is recorded in a standard review file, received by reviewers together with the manuscript. The reviewers will analyze the paper and give arguments for the opinions presented in the review file.
If the reviewer suspects any possible conflict of interest between himself and the received manuscript, he must decline the evaluation and return the manuscript.
The peer review process for a paper takes one to two months, depending on the manuscript length and required changes.
The articles will be reviewed on the first come first serve principle.
The reviewers verify the stage of researches performed within the respective papers in compliance with the state of the art, similar research conducted by other authors, the novelty degree, methodology, obtained results, etc. (complying with the evaluating file). Reviewers may request a revision of the article to be made. In this case, it is generally understood that only the revised version can be considered for further appraisal under the peer-review system.
Based on the review report, the editor can accept, reject, or request modifications to the manuscript
